BIOGRAPHY
CSL began as a studio project in 2005. The original EP, Greetings Comrade, was recorded by Tim and Desiree. It contained four songs; two new versions
of songs previously recorded by Tim's solo project, No Man's Band, and two originals.
After this, Grant briefly joined the band on bass. Tim met Craig in
the beginning of their College Freshman year, and Craig joined on guitar. Grant left the band shortly after that. Within a couple weeks, Dean joined the band on drums.
With this lineup, the majority of Aggro was written. Several months later (and only a couple weeks before our first show) Brian joined the band on saxophone. Thus completes the current CSL roster. Almost one year after the formation of the full band, we recorded Aggro, our debut full length album.
But enough about CSL, what about Two Hours To Lunch? I mean, what's the deal? Two Hours to Lunch and CSL are technically the same band. In 2007 CSL decided to change its name to Two Hours to Lunch. So here we are, same history, different name.
THE USUAL SUSPECTS
At any given moment during practice, you may find all or some (or at least one) of the following individuals:
Brian
Craig
Dean
Desiree
Tim
Purpleton
I would provide a list of who plays what instrument, but that seems to change on a weekly basis. The only real consistency is that Dean plays drums and Tim plays guitar. Desiree sings most of the songs. Craig was on guitar, but probably plays bass now. Sometimes Craig sings. Brian has an array of saxophones. If Desiree isn't singing she's playing xylophone. But just because she's playing xylophone, it doesn't mean she isn't singing. Purpleton manages our merchandise at shows and sits quietly during practice. Got all that?
